FABULOUS OPPORTUNITY FOR PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER AT HNW HOME NEAR BIRMINGHAM

A warm and welcoming high-net-worth family of four is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and energetic part-time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their beautiful, four-bedroom home in Moseley, Birmingham. This is a long-term, part-time role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptional household standards, is organised and proactive, and is comfortable working independently within an informal yet busy, high-standard family environment.
 
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes, maintaining high household standards across all living areas (living room, study, snug, boot room, utility and gym), four bedrooms, five bathrooms and kitchen. The family have children and a dog, so being child and pet-friendly are essential requirements, though no child or pet care duties form part of the role.
 
Working from 9am-1pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend days required by prior arrangement, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and loyal Housekeeper seeking a long-term, part-time position with a friendly family who values professionalism, discretion, and exceptional standards of housekeeping.
 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Daily cleaning and housekeeping throughout the home, maintaining impeccable standards
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, and careful garment care
• Room turn-downs and ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are consistently well presented
• Care and maintenance of specialist finishes and delicate surfaces, including polished concrete and living brass
• General organisation of household areas, including the kitchen, utility, boot room, study, snug, gym, and living spaces
• Reporting any maintenance issues and proactively ensuring the home remains well organised and beautifully presented

 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in delivering high housekeeping standards
• Confident working independently with minimal supervision
• Experienced in laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and caring for delicate fabrics and specialist surfaces
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional with excellent time management
• Energetic, professional and proactive
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Based within a commutable distance from Moseley
• Right to live and work in the UK
