FAMILY CHAUFFEUR/SECURITY REQUIRED FOR UHNW FAMILY IN CENTRAL LONDON

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chauffeur / Security professional to join an ultra-high-net-worth family based in Central London. This is a predominantly driving-focused position, supporting the family with school runs, appointments, errands and day-to-day transportation, while also providing a discreet security presence. The successful candidate will have a professional military or army background and previous experience working with UHNW principals and families.
 
The role will involve an early start to complete the children’s school drop-offs, followed by ad hoc driving and household errands during the morning. These may include collecting dry cleaning, grocery shopping, running local errands and driving the principals as required. There is generally a break from approximately 12pm-3pm before returning for the children’s school pick-ups from around 4:30pm, followed by afternoon activities, appointments and further driving requirements.
 
The family travel frequently and do not reside permanently in the UK, meaning the working pattern can vary depending on when the principals are in residence. This is a Monday-Friday role, though some weekend work may be required, with days off in lieu provided. The successful candidate will benefit from a generous overall amount of time away from work throughout the year, while the salary remains a fixed annual salary. Candidates must be based within a commutable distance from Central London (near Hyde Park) and have excellent knowledge of London routes and traffic.
 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Safely and professionally chauffeur the family, primarily using a Mercedes V-Class
• Complete daily school runs and transport the children to afternoon activities
• Drive the principals to appointments, meetings and other engagements as required
• Undertake errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning collections and deliveries
• Maintain vehicles to an immaculate standard, ensuring they are clean, fuelled and serviced
• Provide a discreet and professional security presence while supporting the family’s wider needs
• Assist with occasional weekend driving and security duties when the family is in residence

 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Chauffeur / Security Driver for UHNW or high-profile clients
• Professional Army or military background
• Extensive experience driving professionally in London and confidently navigating Central London
• Excellent chauffeur experience with high-value vehicles, particularly Mercedes V-Class
• Discreet, highly professional and comfortable working around children and principals
• Flexible regarding working hours and occasional weekend requirements
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, personable approach
• Full UK driving licence and excellent driving record
• Excellent checkable references and proven longevity in previous positions
