ROMANIAN SPEAKING PART-TIME NANNY REQUIRED FOR YOUNG FAMILY IN LONDON
A lovely family based in London are seeking a warm, engaging and experienced Part-Time Nanny to support their two young children, a boy and a girl, both under the age of three. This is a hands-on position ideally suited to a nurturing nanny who has strong experience with babies and toddlers and enjoys creating a stimulating and caring environment at home.
As the youngest child is not currently attending nursery, the successful candidate will play an important role in his day-to-day development, planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning through play and keeping him engaged throughout the day.
The family require approximately 15–20 hours of support per week and are very flexible regarding the working pattern for the right candidate. Afternoon hours would be preferred, although they are happy to discuss alternative days and timings with an exceptional nanny. The family would also be open to a full-time nanny/housekeeper.
The role will also include preparing healthy vegan meals and snacks for the little girl, so candidates should be comfortable cooking simple, nutritious children’s food and following the family’s dietary preferences. A driver would be advantageous but is not essential.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Providing attentive and hands-on care for both children
- Planning fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting early learning, development and independence
- Organising outings, walks and activities outside the home
- Preparing healthy vegan meals and snacks for the little girl
- Maintaining the children’s routines and keeping their areas organised
- Taking responsibility for child-related duties during working hours
- Communicating closely with the parents regarding routines and development
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Previous professional nanny experience with children under three
- Warm, caring and genuinely engaged approach to childcare
- Romanian language skills highly desirable
- Confident preparing simple, healthy children’s meals, including vegan options
- Proactive, energetic and comfortable caring for two young children
- Driver advantageous but not essential
- Flexible and reliable with excellent communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check
- Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Excellent checkable references
