TOP-NOTCH LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR UHNW RESIDENCE IN CENTRAL LONDON

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly capable Housekeeper to take responsibility for the year-round upkeep of a newly refurbished UHNW residence in Belgravia. The principals are a lovely international family who live overseas and visit their London home periodically, generally for stays of up to two weeks at a time.
 
The successful candidate will take ownership of the property when the family are away, ensuring the residence is beautifully maintained, fully operational and ready for their arrival at any time. This is an ideal role for someone who is switched on, proactive and confident working independently, while also being comfortable coordinating with contractors and liaising with the wider household team. When in London, they travel with a full entourage including a chef, nannies, security and additional household staff.
 
Working from Monday to Friday when the family are overseas, flexibility will be required in terms of the schedule and availability when the family are in residence. Separate, self-contained accommodation is provided on site, offering the successful candidate privacy and comfortable independent accommodation. Unfortunately, no pets or dependents can be accommodated.
 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Maintain the residence to an exceptional standard of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the year
• Prepare the property ahead of the family’s arrival, including bedrooms, wardrobes, bathrooms and living areas
• Ensure the kitchen and household are fully stocked, including checking and replenishing the fridge and essential provisions
• Liaise with contractors, maintenance teams and suppliers, overseeing works and ensuring the property remains in excellent condition
• Manage laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and general household organisation as required
• Work alongside additional household staff and the family’s travelling entourage when the principals are in residence

 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper within an UHNW private household
• Excellent housekeeping and laundry standards with strong attention to detail
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently without constant supervision
• Confident liaising with contractors and managing household requirements
• Discreet, trustworthy and professional, with an understanding of working around principals and their guests
• Flexible and willing to adapt working hours when the family are in residence
• Strong communication and English language skills
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Excellent, checkable references
