ROTATIONAL CHIEF AV/IT OFFICER REQUIRED FOR A 100m+ MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)

 
We are recruiting for an experienced and highly professional Chief AV/IT Officer to join the Technical Department onboard a prestigious 100m+ private superyacht.
 
The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities, alongside proven experience managing technical projects and AV/IT contractors. Exceptional written and spoken English is essential, as is a professional, discreet, proactive, and guest-focused mindset. Preferred candidates will hold relevant qualifications in AV/IT, networking, electronics, or telecommunications.
 
Working closely with Work closely with the Captain, Chief Engineer, ETO and Interior Department, Key responsibilities include;
 

• Take overall responsibility for all onboard AV, IT, entertainment, network and communication systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot advanced AV/IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, Wi-Fi, audio, video and entertainment systems.
• Manage satellite internet, Starlink, VSAT, LTE/5G and other connectivity services.
• Maintain cybersecurity, network security and user access controls.
• Provide professional and discreet technical support to the Owner, guests and crew.
• Manage planned maintenance, system upgrades, software/firmware updates and technical documentation.
• Coordinate AV/IT contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Maintain accurate inventory, technical records and critical spare parts.
• Participate in yacht refit, new-build and AV/IT upgrade projects.
• Work closely with the Captain, Chief Engineer, ETO and Interior Department.

 
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

• STCW/ENG1
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant AV/IT experience preferably onboard large vessels
• Previous experience on a 100m+ yacht is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, Wi-Fi, servers, cybersecurity and AV systems.
• Experience with Crestron, Lutron, Kaleidescape, Dante, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Peplink or equivalent systems is advantageous.
• Relevant AV/IT, networking, electronics or telecommunications qualifications preferred.
• Must be Covid vaccinated & willing to undergo medical screening prior to joining 
• Excellent references are needed
