URGENT TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD

A private household is looking for an exceptionally experienced and polished Temporary Housekeeper to provide additional support over a busy period from 26th October through to 14th November.
 
This role requires someone who can confidently step into an established private household and hit the ground running. The successful candidate must have excellent private household experience, exceptionally high housekeeping standards and a strong understanding of the discretion and professionalism required when working within a private family environment.
 
The family are particularly looking for someone hardworking, reliable and well presented, who takes genuine pride in their work and can work effectively alongside an existing household team. Excellent, checkable references are essential. The household also has dogs and two guinea pigs, so candidates must be completely comfortable around animals.
 
You would be working as part of a fully staffed household, alongside 3 other housekeepers so a team player mentality is essential. The ability to prepare meals would be a welcome bonus, although cooking is not an essential requirement of the position.
 
WORKING SCHEDULE:

• Monday 26th – Wednesday 28th October: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Thursday 29th October – Saturday 14th November: Working within the household shift pattern for 9 hours per day, with exact hours TBC. Shifts will generally be either daytime or PM.

 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• High-standard daily housekeeping throughout the residence
• Detailed cleaning and maintaining immaculate presentation standards
• Making beds and changing household linen
• Laundry and ironing as required
• Caring appropriately for household furnishings, surfaces and finishes
• Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas beautifully presented
• Working collaboratively with the existing household team
• Assisting with additional household duties as required
• Preparing meals on occasion, if confident and experienced in cooking

• Confident joining an established household and adapting quickly to existing routines
• Strong team player with a flexible and helpful approach
• Comfortable around dogs and guinea pigs
• Available for the required dates and flexible regarding the later shift pattern
• Excellent, checkable references
